If you're like me you usually try on Boden jeans and find that the waist and hips are baggy while the legs are too tight (Straightleg jeans, I'm talking to you). I wanted to love them but I rarely did--until I tried the Wideleg jeans. I am 5'8" and curvy but not skinny. I normally order a size 16 but I always double-check the garment measurements. I got these in a 14 Long and they fit like a dream! They are perfect with 3" heels and the cuffs look natural, not bulky. Also, the zipper is set low enough so you don't have that awkward space between the bottom of the zipper and the crotch (like on the Straightlegs). My faith has been restored!

Great jean, fit great, true to size, nice dark color etc. Needed something tailored to wear on casual Fridays at work. I am, however, exchanging for the same size in long. I could have worn the regular length with flats, but definitely not with heels, and worried that they would shrink even more after one wash. Looking forward to getting the exchanged pair in the mail.

I really like the trouser style of these jeans. I actually bought two pairs - one in long to wear with boots and/or clogs and one regular to wear with flats. I'm 5'4 to give you an idea of the length.

These are the best jeans! They fit great, they look great, and they feel great. I've gotten compliments on them. Because they are wide leg I don't look like a stem of broccoli in them. Because they are 97% cotton they don't stretch out later in the day like other jeans that are more elastane than cotton.

Very nice trouser jeans that hold their shape well. They can be dressed up or down easily. I am 5'7" with a 31.5" inseam. I ordered a 6 long. They fit well and are cute with a slight heel (1.5 - 2 inch) but are too short for me to wear with a taller heel, which is why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I am considering ordering a second pair in white.

I am mid-30s, 5'8", athletic build, between a size 6-8, with a relatively wide waist compared to my hips. I am eternally looking for the perfect jeans, and usually my problem is that they have too much stretch and end up sagging down my booty & hips. These size 8 Boden wide leg jeans are higher-rise jeans that fit well through my waist, so they did not have that problem. I desperately wanted to like them, as they were also soft and well made. However, they simply did not flatter my body whatsoever. They looked like mom-jeans through the high waist, and like old man jeans the rest of the way down. They were large and straight, slightly too big through the hips, and had no flow or drape to feminize them. I am very sad about it, but I sent them back.

I've really liked past seasons wide leg jeans so was enthusiastic to see they were brought back. However, as stated in the description, these are more of a trouser. The denim is quite thick and the pants look bulky. I felt they made me look chunky. Also, I do prefer an uncuffed hem, but again this is stated in the description. Oh well. Maybe next season......
