This dress is very flattering for my shape. I find it hard to figure out what size in Boden dresses I will take (sometimes a 4/sometimes a 6) in this case a 4 fit best--so I would say runs slightly big. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is slightly low cut-but if you are small busted, you won't need a cami with it and it will still be professional. The knit is soft and beautiful. It is also lined which is ideal.

Great dress, I wish I would have ordered the navy too. I ordered the pink and it is perfect for spring and summer. I like that the pleats under the bust are not too plentiful. Sometimes when there are too many pleats or gathers it can look like maternity wear, but not this one.

Bought the 8L and hits at knee(I'm 5'10). Great for hourglass shapes. Wish the neckline was as wide as the picture, its very narrow.
And I loved, loved this dress- fit perfect until I washed it.......then it shrank, and became too snug to wear to work. Would have given 5 stars if it kept it original shape/size.

I bought this dress to wear to a rehearsal dinner, thinking it was classic enough to be worn for evenings out for many years. Sadly it looks nothing like it does on the model. Maybe it was pinned in the back to give it shape for the photograph? The fabric would make for a very comfortable dress but the shape... just one big blue box. I'll be sending it back.

I love this dress! I'm a size 6 usually but in this dress I kept the 4. The red color is great, almost like watermelon. Very confortable and i like the underskirt, not heavy at all. It is form fitting on the belly area so i wouldn't downsize if you are heavier that area.

The lightweight knit is refined and classic, and fit seems true to size.
While the skirt is lined, the bodice is not, make sure to have a bra/foundational garment close to your skin tone if you order the dress in "Raddish" (a great multi-season color!).
