I absolutely loved this dress for the first two times I wore it. The fit is great, and it's very comfortable. The third time, however, I spilled a few tiny droplets of soup on the skirt of the dress, and rushed to get a cloth (a dark-colored one, mind you!) to rub out the stain with cold water. To my horror, after a few minutes, large white spots appeared at the location of the stain. Only then did I look at the fabric label, and it said "do not rub stains." Really? How else is one supposed to remove stains? So effectively, I paid $[$] for a casual dress that was ruined from normal wear and tear within 3 wearings. In my mind, that's a bad design. This was my first Boden purchase and will probably be my last, too.

Anytime I wear this, people are ogling! It doesn't matter whether it's casual with a pair of flip flops or dressy with a pair of heels. This dress is flattering, sexy, cute and lovely! Thank you Johnnie for offering it in tall sizes because I would be very disappointed if it wasn't. I am usually a size 4 in most American clothing brands but tall at 5'10". This dress is so versatile! You can wear it with casual flats to dress it down. Add a nice crocheted sweater for a bit of pizazz. Wear heels and add a nice wrap for dinner out - or a jacket and heels for work. I ordered a 16R in Charcoal and it fits wonderfully. Feels as comfy as my nightgown. Love it!

This seems to be a particularly versatile dress, soft, feminine, folkloric. I got it in blue. I like the crochet neckline, which by the way is sewn really nicely, and the understated design. It would be great for travel - it's lightweight and could go just about anywhere. The clingy fabric does telegraph everything.

I am 5'11.5" and 155lbs with an athletic figure - first I bought the dress in an 8L and it was too long! But I returned it for a regular and it fit perfectly. It was not too tight in the shoulders, which can be a problem for us taller women. It falls very nicely, not clinging to my body but still makes me look long and lean! The dress is definitely casual material, but I would not hesitate to throw on some cute boots and a nice sweater to dress it up.

I wanted to give this dress a try because I was looking for a cute casual summer/spring dress. It was sold out for weeks and I jumped on the chance to get it when it came back in stock. I'm 5'8", 135lbs, 32DD and I ordered an 8L in the blue. The dress was tight in the back and the neckline was too high. My husband said it looked like a nightgown and I have to say he's right. I'm curvy and this dress is definitely better suited for a pear or high-waisted woman with a small chest. Guess I have to go back to the standard criss-cross jersey Boden dresses that better suit my figure.

This dress is so flattering! Lovely color--I ordered in the green and though the picture makes it look like the crochet trim is a different color, it's not. The green is the same throughout. The fabric is so soft. This dress will be in heavy rotation this summer. I plan to dress it up with wedge sandals and dress it down with flip flops. I ordered my regular size in a long and it hits just below the knee. LOVE!!

I am usually a size 4, sometimes a 6, but this was just a little tight in the 4 and too big in the 6. If it had been a pattern and not solid, the 4 would have been fine. But this fabric, while very light and comfy, is not very forgiving of flaws in a solid color, where a print would have masked them better. This is typical of this fabric in Boden dresses - the patterns always help to mask things like underwear lines and help make jiggles on the back side less visible. The top is beautiful, and had the 4 just been a tad larger I may have kept the dress. Bought the herb, and it is very olive-ish, which is also not a great color for me. Had to return.
