I SO wanted to love this dress. The navy pinstripe is very classic and the material is a dream -- nice soft, non-itchy wool. However, I am returning it because the fit just isn't quite right. I have an hourglass figure, and I thought the twist at the bustline would really enhance that. It WOULD have, if the rest of the dress didn't hang like a sack. Instead of being tailored in at the waist, the dress just hangs straight from the bustline and it not the least bit waist-enhancing. I considered having it altered, but for the price I shouldn't have to. Also, one more thing: I am barely 5'2", but the dress was really short on me. It was about an inch above the knee without heels, which is too short for me to wear it to work. And where else would I wear a navy pinstripe dress but to work? Although it breaks my heart, I have to send it back.

I wore this to work with one of the blazers in the collection. I looked professional, chic and I was comfortable. I wear pretty high heels so I liked the length - right at the knee. I loved the simple fact that it has sleeves because I can take off the jacket at my desk and still look work-appropriate. Throw on a silk scarf and it works after hours as well. I got the charcoal melange and it is completely gorgeous.

I really wanted to like this, but I am 5'11" and it hit me way too high to be flattering. It hung straight and didn't curve to my waist enough to flatter my shape. Great material though and for someone who is more straight up and down, it might be wonderful.

I love, love, love the color of this dress! It fits me perfectly (5'5", 125lbs - I ordered the 6). It is comfortable, quite well made and I expect that it will be a go-to item in my closet for a very long time. Only one quibble - the gathers at the bust look a little 'messy'. I plan to steam them down a bit before my next wearing.
