This is the first Boden dress I have ever purchased and I love it. Usually I stick to skirts which are more flattering for my pear shape. But this dress, with its fit and flare design, is just perfect!! Also appreciate the 3/4 length sleeves. Hope to see more dresses like this one in the future.

I love this dress , it has a retro look about it like it came from the 50's. It is very flattering on my pear shaped figure. I do wish it could be dried in the dryer but at least it is machine washable. It is a little wrinkly so will take it to the cleaners to have it pressed. Very comfortable to wear.

I love this dress and got more compliments on it than I remember getting on anything else. The fabric with a touch of stretch is very comfortable. It's true, the skirt is full, but I like the look, and even though I'm 5 feet tall, it didn't 'overwhelm' me -- in fact, I was asked if I had the dress custom made for me. I have worn this dress to work, and also to a wedding rehearsal/luncheon, dressing it up a little bit. It's awesome!

I'm 5'3", a little long in the torso and short in the legs, and a 10R in this hits at a nice spot just below the knees that makes my legs look good. The red is a bright, clear red--no orange or pink tones. Cut is flattering although a little close for a busty figure. Skirt is full but without the unflattering abundance of fabric around the hips that full skirts sometimes have. Unfortunately the buttons stand out visually since they're a contrasting dark gray, which I think makes it look a little less polished than it could. The fabric also seems prone to wrinkle. But it's a lightweight cotton that should be cool on hot days. All in, it's a distinctly retro look, and I think retro tends to look better on people a little younger than me. But I'm going to keep it, and try out different accessories to make it less retro and more age-appropriate.

I bought this in the truffle magnolia in a size 6. I'm 5'5.5" slenderish pear shape, with a bit of a mom tum, and this is elegant and flattering. Others have mentioned the full skirt as being too full; I didn't find it so. It's a classic 1950s style fit and flare dress. The slight stretch with the cotton should help minimze wrinkles and also makes it more comfortable. The floral pattern in the truffle color isn't too overpowering, even on my average height. In short, it's classic, feminine and versatile. Wow!

I bought a long but the waist still sat at the bottom of my ribs, and I'm not a particularly tall gal--just a touch over 5'7". Mostly, though, I just found the fabric overwhelming - not my style, but perhaps fun for someone else.

Love the dress, it definitely does flare out in the skirt. Sort of a 50's-60's look, which I do like. Only issue is there is some gapping at the chest as I am somewhat large-chested. It's not a deal-breaker though.
